Can Tho leaders receiving Canadian Consul General 

In the afternoon of July 27, Deputy Chairman of the Can Tho City People's Committee Duong Tan Hien welcomed Canadian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, Kyle Nunas coming to bid farewell on the occasion of the end of his tenure.

At the reception, Deputy Chairman Duong Tan Hien congratulated Mr. Kyle Nunas on fulfilling his term. Hien appreciated the contribution of the Consul General in promoting cooperation between Vietnam and Canada in general, between Can Tho City as well as Vietnamese and Canadian localities in particular.
 
The two sides also had many activities to enhance coordination in the implementation of investment promotion and business support programs as well. Deputy Chairman Duong Tan Hien believed that Kyle Nunas would fulfill the assigned tasks in his new position, and simultaneously continue doing activities to promote cooperation between Canada and Vietnam, including Can Tho City.
 
Canadian Consul General Kyle Nunas would like to give special thanks to Can Tho leaders for creating favorable conditions for him to excellently complete his tenure in Vietnam. Kyle Nunas affirmed that the Consulate General of Canada in Ho Chi Minh City would always actively carry out activities of economic development, investment and trade to act as a bridge between the two countries, including Can Tho City. Kyle Nunas hoped Can Tho leaders would continue to care for his successor.
 
At the meeting, the delegation of the Consulate General and some Canadian businesses discussed with leaders of various departments and sectors of Can Tho to explore investment cooperation opportunities in agriculture and solid waste disposal.
